Amanda Markowitz is an actor and a producer committed to bringing stories to life from inception to completion. She is a proud member of SAG/AFTRA as well as the Producers Guild of America (PGA). She has multiple projects in development and production.

 

A Los Angeles native, Amanda graduated Magna Cum Laude from USC’s Marshall School of Business. She is the Owner and Co-Founder of Three Tales Productions and has produced numerous award-winning films.

 

Amanda has wide-ranging knowledge of production from inception and development to post-production, completion and distribution. She has produced over 10 films, including “The Voices,” which she starred in alongside Lin Shaye and Brendan Sexton III. She also produced and acted in the award-winning feature film “Love Meet Hope,” alongside the late Emmy-award winning actor, Ed Asner.

 

Formerly, Amanda was a Producer at Foundation Films, where she discovered and developed various projects. She worked with writers, agents & managers in securing options on scripts to then be developed and produced. Additionally, she previously worked in various casting offices, which gave her an understanding of the casting side of production, enhancing her understanding and skills as a producer.

 

Amanda served on the Board of Directors for the 100-member non-profit, The Collaborative, an organization dedicated to promoting artistic growth through opportunities in education, production and communal creative engagement. There she helped expand the production wing of the organization, providing opportunities for individuals to learn more and ultimately produce their own projects.

Amanda is currently in development on a podcast/documentary exploring resilience and transformation.
